A telecare service for older people and persons with disabilities that offers a personalised response in emergency situations, support from loneliness and a service for small home repairs.


10.00 – 12.00 Study Visit: Universo D | Os Direitos na Criança e no Jovem

Education Programme for Human Rights and Values, which, through a participatory methodology and non-formal education, invites experiential and voluntary learning about the rights of children and young people on the way to global citizenship.


11.00 – 12.30 Study Visit: Operação de Emprego para Pessoas com Deficiência

Programme to promote the employability of people with disabilities and the awareness of the business community about the professional skills of this population group.


12.00 – 13.30 Study Visit: Gabinete de Finanças Saudáveis

A support service for families in their day-to-day financial management. The service includes family budget monitoring, support in restructuring credit agreements or debts, and advice on accessing public aid for energy, food, and other social support.

This panel discussion will explore the essential role of social services in creating inclusive communities and will highlight how tailored social services respond to local needs, promote social well-being, and reduce inequality.

Panellists will share strategies and practices that foster community engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and the development of resilient, inclusive, and sustainable neighbourhoods.
