Anne-Marie Glasby is a Senior Development Officer with the rights-based organisation, Changing Our Lives, and a former nurse working with people with learning disabilities.  She was a member of the NIHR-funded research team based at the University of Birmingham which conducted the ‘Why are we stuck in hospital’ study, exploring ways to support more people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people to leave long-stay hospitals and lead more ordinary lives in the community
