IRMA BORDE

Irma Borde is a policy officer in Directorate-General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission. She works in the Unit that provides policy guidance and develops actions at EU level aiming at combating poverty, social exclusion and economic inequalities. She was involved in the preparation and negotiations of the EU Directive on Work-Life Balance, the European Child Guarantee and recently – the Recommendation on adequate minimum income. Before joining the European Commission, she worked in Poland in the Managing Authority for the European Social Fund.
